ramie2400.....this is the side-effect of being in this section of this forum. We will always try to drive the last penny out of your pocket.

As a example, two years ago I came to this forum with a budget of 5k for uufer + tutor + speak-kar and etc and now got totally spoiled.

Its good and bad

About the GZ subs will be posting the review very soon.
it was a typo. in real life situation(13.5v apx) it wont even give 500. it should be around 420-460w.

thanks for correcting though.

Personally, I like the name of the brand, the logo AND the brand ambassadoress in addition to the performance.

like you said, its just a personal preference, nothing else. i would never base my opinion on looks even if the model above is s-naked.

When comparing amps there is a standard which is called CEA. In that there are certain parameters which are kept constant so that a layman person can compare two products.

http://www.jbl.com/car/product_suppo...IA_CEA2006.pdf

So when comparing I would consider it at 500 watts not at 420-460.

About the Personal preference I would never basis my opinion on look but on the potential what the product can offer like the sub in the picture alone can do 177 db + Hope you got my point.

Ramie Bhai, the woofer has a pure Aluminium cone, woven-in tinsel leads, die cast basket, 2" voice coil, 18mm linear X-max and 500 watts rms power handling. I wouldnt exactly call this entry level. Entry level is the GZTW 12MK2. And yes, it is the same as the one in the picture.

Its not a pure SPL sub. Its very musical. When you had heard the Wagon R, the car had the dual voice coil version of the same sub. It has similar specs but different impedance, so the sound is quite similar.

I believe you know more dealers of Ground Zero stuff than I do. Any of them would show you their popat...err, pressure.
