Guys, it seems only my rewritable discs are creating problems with the HU (Error 17). So, problem might be with the discs afterall.

Ok. Error 25 is when you try to play two CD's at once. Took both out(after several tries), put one back in and voila..MUSIC is back !

LBM, I am getting Error 23 while playing MP3 disc. I guess I screwed up something while making it. This is what I did. Copied all my songs folders from pen drive to disc, it automatically burned it using default Vista writer. Did I made any mistake here ? I have P4050 installed by you only

Pioneer DEH 2190 UB Headunit - Help

A friend of mine got a pioneer DEH 2190 HU with front USB access. When she put the 1 GB pen drive it works fine, when she puts a 4 GB drive, the HU displays an error!

What could be the problem? does it not support 4 GB drives?

Please help!

I get to see a Error-17 on my Pio.

If I remove and reinsert the cd containing mp3', it works just fine.
If I switch to radio, it works fine.

Any idea...what might be causing this.

^^ i used to get the same error for mp3s in my Pio, the remove and insert worked fine for a while. THen it stopped reading them completely. Now all MP3s have started giving me this error. None of the MP3/WMA cds work on it now. I get error 23 on all mp3 cds.

Error 11 with iPod NOT CD/MP3!

Hi all,

Did'nt want to open a new thread since I found this one but noticed that in this thread had Pioneer Headunits showing an Error 11 when a CD/MP3 is being played. I have a different issue.

I am using the Pioneer DEH-P6950 and the reason I chose this over the Pioneer 7950 is mainly because of the function to operate the iPod directly from the headunit itself. Now, Ive been using this headunit with my iPod since the past 4 years and have had absolutely no issues what so ever! However, I had recently given my car to the workshop which required them to open the dash board and hence remove the headunit for their work.

When I got the car back, I noticed that the headunit plays well and then shows an Error 11 after around 10 minutes of playing. It also happens that it does not show an error but the music just stops playing. In order for it to start plaing again, I have to switch off the headunit, remove the panel, fit the panel again and switch on. This sometimes has to be done more than once. Now, this happens only when I am playing music through the iPod only and never happens when I am playing CDs/MP3s or the Radio. Is this a problem with the headunit or the connection cable that directly connects the iPod to the headunit?

Kindly help!!

Isn't the iPod connector coming out from the rear? Quite likely the cable is loose at the rear of the HU. Take it back to the workshop and ask them to fit it back properly.

Dont ever think of getting the lens changed, its a complete waste of time, money and mind. Just go and get yourself a new player if it starts showing error messages when you put in a CD, or if your CD plays for sometime and then an error msg comes up.
