Can any1 give me inputs for pio 4050

Hi. You can power 4 speakers directly from the HU. check the specs of the HU. they may show something like 50W*4 or 45W*4.

With 1 RCA, you can connect an amp and power the front or the rear speakers.

The RCA is just to connect to an amp. It's not required if you are not using an amp.

If you get an amp, you can still get the signal for both front and rear channels by using a Y-Cable. It's just that both the front and rear will get exactly the same signal, so you won't be able to use the fader control. It's up to you to decide how important that is to you.

Hi backseatdriver, can you give me your feedback on pio 4050? I'm planning to install this unit tomorrow.

How much did you pay for this? Here in Bangalore a dealer quoted me Rs 5800.

Is this unit worth buying?

After taking all this quotations I'm more confused

Beleive me, those speakers are not 1500W, and you need to get rid of them.

You need RCA preouts for an amplifier, if you are powering speakers from the HU and no Sub, you won't need any preouts.
However, this restricts your future upgrades.

i would suggest a JVC HU, then a pioneer. and yes speakers

there are some good installers in B'lore.
PM Blueraven.

I paid 7.5K for it.

But it is good - I am using pio 6x9 ovals and blau tweeters in front. Sounds better than toe other auvio I have inside my home. (they are just average, run-of mill type, anyway).

Try asking in a couple of shops more - you may get it for 5.5 or so.

I repeat that this being my first car, I have not owned and used other car audios . So, you accept my reviews at your own risk!!! (There is some more user experience posted by me on that thread itself - please see the earlier pages)

Like the others said, buy the 7950 if you plan to upgrade in future, the 3 RCA preouts will give you lots of options for amps later. I have it and have no regrets. Have amps for my sub and speakers. Awesome effect, if you want to audition it PM me, I'm in Blr.

hmm
as all the guys have suggested that for a budget of 8k the 7950 pioneer would be a good chioice ( around 9k gey)

however since i see you are considering the 4050 pioneer then you should know that it does have 3RCA outs usb support and aux in
it however has an open slot for ue cds. if you like how it looks its a good buy for 5800rs grey

i advice that you have a look at the 4090 pioneer model.
it has motorised face plate. IMO it looks better than the 4050 and is about the same price as well
Also the 5050 is another good buy for rs 6500 grey
it has all the features of the 4090 as well.

Look no further than DEH-5050 or DEH-7950

Just get the DEH5050 in the grey, it has 3 outs, USB, ipod compatible and reports are the sound is also decent.

Unless you want the 7 band Equalizer and "fancy" display in that 7950 for 9k.

Hay guys, thanks a lot for all your valuable inputs...

I bought pio 4050UB yesterday at Rs 5500. Features are awesome.

USB, iPod direct connection, Bluetooth adapter, EEQ, 3-band parametric equalizer and 3 RCA pre-outs (front + rear + subwoofer)

And especially the list button, which is really helpful to select tracks.
