IIRC - 16 gauge, 7metre pack retails for around Rs. 1050. Check with B&T for exact prices.

Sir,

The i-10 cost me Rs. 4.5 +++ in Mumbai - on road.

Yes, each of the power amps cost about Rs. 55/- K
The Damping is about 12/- K [100 sq. ft. ++]
The Amp Kits are @ 7/- K each. I need 2 of them.
The Subs are @ Rs. 10/- K each - approx.
The Sub Enclosure cost about Rs. 4/- K to make.
The Dynes [front comps] cost about Rs 30/- K on e-bay [brand new]
The Optima Battery is about 12/- K
HU is about 20/- K
Installation Rs. 5/- K approx

ICE was @ 50 % of car cost. True, sanity may have been misplaced here !!!

However, I like audio - more than cars.
I need a car to install the audio - hence the wife's i-10

Oh! eBay. And I thought you had this old range i.e. 240 all along while your other thread was going on.

So why the old range off eBay and not the New and Seemingly Improved 242 for the New car?

ss,

the 240 is better than the 242 i think. the older tweets are better. i haven't heard them, i have heard about them. :-)

Navinji,

you are right. he should have given any one of us a call and we would have helped him with the cars. :-)

cheers

I think that is the reason why Bhagwan has opted for the older line.

Amp is rated at 155 continuous watts per side. Knowing Bhagwan, I can safely assume that he will not feed the speakers more than 30-50 watts averaged during normal listening.

Sorry bro, the new MD102 tweets are in fact better. Having used/heard both, I would not know any reason to buy the earlier set apart from low price.

Gunbir, You may be right;
I have not heard them side by side in the same car driven by the same amps. Hence cannot comment.

You are also spot on with regards the price. I did buy the older ones - price point.

I actualy really wanted the 'New Morels'
All said, the prices @ PTC 'scared' me away. That was my 1st choice.

BTW - My Sub enclosere is almost finished. Filled in the concrete & tiles + fevicol [resin]. Will screw in all the sides tom. Shall try and take snaps & post tom. Hope it works well. Really scared::::

The Moderator is spot on.

I have a lot of gear ling around. However, I cannot mention it here.

If any one needs - Amps + Caps + Subs + Speakers etc. etc. Please do p.m. me. I have a full list of gear for sale @ 40 to 60 % off.

I do hope this post is not deleated by 'Navin' !

I am not trying to sell - just mentioning that I have stuff for sale - that is all.

Thanks,
