JBL Swift Spotted at M.A.Car Studio!!

I may sound stupid but Well Sam i got lucky in this case!!! Recently my Swift was also broken into and the AMP and HU was stolen but luckily the so called CHOR was very skilled, He didnt cut any RCA Cables Power Cables,Speaker cables etc!!! The amp was properly unscrewed and taken, He even left the screws behind. LOL

He only took the HU,the AC wents etc were all left in the car!!!!

Very unfortunate indeed!!!

i fail to understand why AC vents are stolen? do ppl actually damge aC vents that they need a spare?
and orange ac vents! whats he gonna do with those! repaint them!

In the case of the Swift, aftermarket HUs are installed in the central panel (of the dash) that also houses the A/C vents.

In the case of m4ugr8's Swift, the thief probably took the trouble to remove just the HU (from the center-panel), leaving the surrounding panels intact.. Very considerate (and experienced) thief.

In the case of the Yeti2, the thief was probably not as considerate (or experienced) and yanked off the center-panel (with the A/C Vents and all) with the HU (probably because the HU was 2-DIN and he didn't know how he could remove it without damaging the HU).

A dumbass he certainly was, to mess with the Yeti.

I agree with Hydrashok, In case of the Yeti2 the thief was not experienced and simply pulled out the entire Panel with the HU, because the HU is screwed to the Panel in the Swift,

In my case the Thief took the Pain of removing the Panel, Then Unscrewing the HU off the panel and then just took HU,as i have told before all RCA cables were properly taken off, nothing was cut or pulled!!! He made sure that the HU was usable again, the Yeti2's HU must have been damaged in this process!!!
