Got things from B&T. Noisekill is Rs. 150 per sqft. Ichibahn RCAs are for 890 per piece. Illusion speaker wires are for Rs. 1050 for 20ft pack. Finolex 16mm cable is around Rs. 130 per meter. The lug and connectors are 15-25 per piece according to quality and size. Add some petrol cost also as it needs some test runs .

10 sqft each. I have done a very budget installation. You can use more sqft (atleast a 5 sqft each more) for better results. I can't comment on Dynamat or any other product since I have not used or heard (setup) any of them. Dynamat being a market leader and an alltime favourite, must be good for sure. But Noisekill is good, considering its price I would say great VFM (compare 150 per sqft with Dynamat which costs 3-4 times).

I've got to say that Jay is meticulous in his work and documentation. After every stage he took a photo. We even had the oppurtunity (lol) to refer to the photo vs stripping down the door panel again. Unfortunately we had to strip the door down because we had forgotten to put in a small piece

Thanks ramie. Yes it is more on the satisfaction side than the technical perfection . Btw how does it sound? Need to hear a good reference setup first. Also somebody with good ears should listen and comment. Anyway I think there's lot more scope for improvement. Need to tune the system perfectly with changing the axis of tweeters to different points. Also, damping rear doors, hatch door, underbody coating are pending. Let me finish the damping and other labour oriented jobs first. Then will start the hunt for perfect tuning. As of now, I am only 50% satisfied and damn sure that it can be bettered. So it is a never ending DIY...

and me and jkdas got an extended audition of redfire's setup. the bass is sweet and the LF resolution is amazing , I thought he had a monoblock.

We had some more fun tuning his HU.Apparently there is a feature call "advanced sound retriever" Those of you with pio HU's , turn it off. It just creates fake highs. if you want , tweak your EQ - ASR seems to be some kind of DSP which just ruins the sound. once we turned that off, and JK shifted the LF boost center from 80 to 50 Hz, it was amazing - the high end opened up, and the bass had a lot more authority.
I need a sub even more :(

EDIT: hmm wait , its a class T, no wonder it had such good control. Are those amps still sold ? I believe tripath went bankrupt a while ago :(

Thanks for your valuable inputs and for your fine ears . The tuning made it better. Now I think the system is giving the best it can, less what the rear damping can add. Looking forward to that.

And I really amazed how a good HU can perform. The alpine is superior. Green - alpine plus Hertz is playing smoth. As you told, just add a sub and damp the vibes, your car will be perfect. I have decided that next major upgrade will be an HU. Most probably an alpine.

How did you manage to paste the damp sheets inside the inner wall of the doors?
Is it removable? or is it that you just paste it by introducing your bare hands inside the cavity?

Hey MS, thanks. Yes one has to use bare hands to apply the sheets on inner walls of doors. Nothing is removable. Carefully bend / roll the sheet, put it through the biggest cavity, spread it correctly, remove the plastic wrap covering adhesive, apply it. Got a few scartches on my arm .
