Hey Guys need to know how are the blaupaunkt componets.
Am interested in buying Blaupaunkt VC 172.

Please give your review regarding these.

More info:Blaupunkt - Loud Speakers - Velocity Series - Vc 172

Thanks:)

They are good, but why you want to buy them.

When there are better options available in much lower price.

Only if you getting them in dirt cheap prices.

Last i knew they were somewhere near 9k(if i'm not wrong)

9k for the same model?

yes am getting them at good price!

I say THc series. they're better :)

@ greenhorn those compos are lying with some one so can get them at great price

give us the price you're getting them nah, only then can we say if they are worth ;)

They are good, but I think they are being phased out slowly and being replaced with a new series which has already been introduced. You can contact member SRShrikanth, who is an avid Blaupunkt fan and long time user. He is one of the few who has an all Blau ICE

@ greenhorn compos are for 2700 with bill and warranty used for 2 months or so
@ thanks nishant for the info..

BUT are velocity series better than JBL?

I think you are getting it for great price. Rs 2700 is close to there GTx range compos. Velocity costs way more than that (me thinks).

seems like a good price , a very good price :)
What kind of music are you into ?

Oh, I thought you are getting the Vc172 posted in classifieds by user anish9000. But I guess they are for 3k and ~6 months used

The really older Velocitys are pretty nice: The ones with the copper-colour cones (I've forgetten the model numbers and all, sorry). They have a sligggggght metallic tinge to the sound, but nothing that you can't live with.

They are definitely not worth the list price of 9K, but at a substantially lower price, they are pretty VFM. They will run without an amp, but you'll need an amp to really get the best out of them.

I think these retail about 8.5-9k so if you are getting it for less than 3k its definitely worth a try. Will sound much better amped of course
