They are good, but why you want to buy them.

When there are better options available in much lower price.

Only if you getting them in dirt cheap prices.

Last i knew they were somewhere near 9k(if i'm not wrong)

They are good, but I think they are being phased out slowly and being replaced with a new series which has already been introduced. You can contact member SRShrikanth, who is an avid Blaupunkt fan and long time user. He is one of the few who has an all Blau ICE

I think you are getting it for great price. Rs 2700 is close to there GTx range compos. Velocity costs way more than that (me thinks).

The really older Velocitys are pretty nice: The ones with the copper-colour cones (I've forgetten the model numbers and all, sorry). They have a sligggggght metallic tinge to the sound, but nothing that you can't live with.

They are definitely not worth the list price of 9K, but at a substantially lower price, they are pretty VFM. They will run without an amp, but you'll need an amp to really get the best out of them.

I think these retail about 8.5-9k so if you are getting it for less than 3k its definitely worth a try. Will sound much better amped of course
