My Swift ICED..here comes HU upgrade

it all started on 20th july after i bought my Swift VDi and started looking for
having good SQ system.After plenty of discussion with Friends and TBHP-ians,finally managed to get it done last Saturday.
Was very busy with work so got late in posting the install pics.

Before starting with the install description
i would like to give a special thanks to Blueraven ,Abhibh,Clipto333...Without you all it won't have been possible.

Initially i was very confused about choosing the equipment that will suit my taste and budget(around 30K excluding SUB and HU) ,so auditioned Rainbow SLX,Bull Audio,JBL etc and finally decided to go with Hertz ESK 165.After the install i can only say Hertz are just amazing ,worth every penny spent.i decided to skip Rear fill as of now due to budget constraint.

The equipment list which finally went into the car was

HU: Pioneer 5750DVD(already present with me)

Front: Hertz ESK 165 2Way components

Amplifier: Kenwood KAC 8401 X 2

SCOSCHE E1000 AMPLIFIER WIRING KIT

SCOSCHE wiring all around

SCOSCHE Distribution Block X 2

SUB : JBL GTO 1204D (already present with me)

Damping material (Front doors)

Here are the install pics:

@chiragh_bir

i have used 2 4ch amplifiers on is powering the front compos and the other(in bridged mode) powering the SUB.
Also Buying a mono was out the budget.

@chiragh: His sub is a Double voice coil. He can use it at either 2ohms or 8ohms impedances which definitely a bridged channel either won't handle or will give too little power. Hence, he's bridged the 4 channels of one amp into two and he's connected the two voice coil inputs to these bridged channels. Thus, powering the sub properly and using the 4-ch amp as a mono almost.

@nitinralli

Yes the amp in bridged mode is enough to power the DVC sub.Although the power cannot be compared to a mono AMP but it was sufficient for my needs and i was not ready to overshoot my budget.

Nice install. How are the new gen Hertz comps? Are they lesser brighter than the older versions?

Good to hear you are enjoying it, it's been a long wait for you.

I did not get why 2 distribution blocks were used ?

hehehe ...yea satya it was indeed a long wait but finally the SQ is gr888.

Regarding 2 distribution blocks we wanted to power 2 Amps using one power Kit so one for powering both amps and one is for grounding
and using 2 makes it look more presentable too. grounding cable was small which comes with the kit thats why i got extra 2m wire.

Satya any idea on P5750 HU does it plays MP3's on DVD???...i have tried twice with only 1gb of data but it ends up giving error NON Playable Disc

I don't think it supports giga MP3 DVDs, I think the new players do.

I don't think you needed a Fused Distributon block for grounding, if the fuse blows due to whatever reason, you will have an open grounding which is not good for the system and the car's wiring.
Maybe some more experienced people can comment on this, but this is my thought.
