I haven't installed one in my car yet. Am hunting for the Kenwood 8032BT which costs 60k (B&W). Trying to get one for a little cheaper in gray. Lets see. Or else i shall settle for the JVC 800.

Regarding the Steering Audio Remote, all you need is a add-on steering wheel remote module which will retain your stock steering wheel audio controls even after you change over to an after market HU. Something like this PAC SWI-JACK Steering wheel control interface for Alpine, Clarion, JVC, and Kenwood at Crutchfield.com

Cheers

Sorry to bump an old thread, but as anyone used the PAC SWI-JACK ?

Is it plug & play or does it involve some complicated stuff like infrared etc ?

Its not completely plug & play. Certain procedures have to be followed to set it up with the car and HU in concern. No IR business atleast.

so ajay it means you have actually used and set this up somewhere. What about the availability factor? Is it available in mumbai?

Does it violate any warranty issues with the car manufacturer?

Why dont you get hold of the kenwood 5032.Its mrp is 33.5k.Add a bluetooth module. It has similar features as the 8032bt plus you get 2 years warranty which IMO is a must in any Head unit costing above 15k.

Nice, but how come a single din? Been considering changing my stock system as well. How much did the kit cost you and where did you get it from?
Thanks!
