Hi All,

got my new white swift 3 days back and got it ICE'd the details of which are as follows:

Pioneer double din head unit (FHP8000BT)
JL Audio components
Hertz Co-Axials
Crunch 900W 4 channel amplifier
Hertz Sub-Woofer

got the whole thing done from Satya
the setup is performing good but i do have one question
initially Satya had given me some single din pioneer HU for a day as he dint have stock for the double din player. the setup was sounding sweeeeet then the next day he changed the single din player and put this double din player and the sweetness turned to bitterness.

although after adjusting it a little its sounding good now but not the way the single din was sounding. Actually at higher frequencies the sound is getting distorted for instance if someone is screaming or something then it was sounding harsh. i do understand that pioneer is by default bright but never thought that bright means distortion at high pitches and at loud volumes, any suggestions on why this is happening?

Cross check by playing the same disc in another system, say at home, to check if it is not an inherent fault with the recording. Is there a dB control at the cross-over? If so, put it to -6dB.

Show this phenomena to Satya - he should be able to fix it if the system requires retuning. For example, if the HU volume is set high to get decent signal to the amp, the HU may be distorting the signal (clipping).
