Sam sent me his review, as he was afraid "people on this forum are always waiting to jump on him"... he was afraid his words will be skewed and misused to serve a different agenda. Either ways, those are his words. I only made some grammatical corrections. Believe it or not.

PS. If I had to write a review about his setup, I assure you it would be much, much longer.

LOL. sam has tried so many components, subs, head units and amplifiers that he has become a stalwart of sorts :-) anyways, sam. very very very happy to know you are satisfied with the profi sub. to be honest, I was looking at the rainbow line of subs but when i heard the price of the entry level sub, my jaw dropped , and so did the idea of getting one!
anyways, hope you keep this equipment for a slightly longer time now. that fact that one can NEVER be satisfied always stands. so enjoy the music for a while, and then zero down to the weakest link!

Sam, you shouldn't be so worried. We at TBHP are inclusive. Many of us come from varied backgrounds. I have friends who are multi-lingual and they dont make me (a mono-lingual person) feel small. I still remember the first interview of Sehwag I heard on TV. Manjrekar was the interviewer and asked him how he felt hammering some bowlers all over the park. Sehwag's answer was "I am happy". When Manjrekar pressed on with another question in english Sehawag (looking a little lost) replied "I am so happy". Manjrekar quickly realised that English was not Sehwag's first language and asked the next question in Hindi and Sehwag answer was a series of beautiful hindi which I sadly cannot reproduce but I can still remember the smile on his face whne he was able to reply in his natural language.

Gunbir, thanks for helping Sam out. I was surprised to see Sam's writing style change so much. I used to have to read his posts a few times to work though but I liked the honesty of his postings.

but honestly i liked the way sam's stuff has shaped up. a rainbow sub and a p80rsII head unit are quite the right step towards SQ.. Sam, care to tell us if your preferences in music have changed vastly after you upgraded your setup? what kind of music do you listen to? i can say my taste in music improved after my upgrades. i slowly started eradicating ta ta tananana tandoori nights etc. from my case logic folder :-P

I used to listen to any crappy 96kbps mp3 off a usb drive and anything went. Also listened to a lot of fm radio. Now i listen to my own music. And very select songs at that. The crappy music is now out of the window. I feel like my taste in music has matured and i've advanced 5-6 years sonically :-)
A pioneer sub woofer and pioneer coaxials wouldn't yield much quality music. Thats why the change. If i listened to same spl stuff on the luccents it'd be sacrilege.

+1. Add me to this list as well. That Day Sam wanted to get his Wheels Balanced and I took him to one part of Delhi just because i wanted to listen to more and more of his setup. His setup is like, It always puts a smile on your face whenever you change the track. Every music detail and so many other things sound so different on his setup. Everytime i get to know SAM is coming to my place, I am in front of my computer, burning new Tracks to a CD to listen on his setup.

And I remember that day when i first met him and got Bull Audio Components installed in his car. But i should have understood his Long term planning that day itself. He got Components worth 5k and wiring complete connection Audison worth 15k

Congratulations Sam!
Very happy to see another music lover with some great equipment.

You've definitely set an example to many ICErs here, buddy.

When's the next upgrade though?

Frank don't download FLAC's most of them are 320Kbps MP3's re-mastered to FLAC.

@sam_786 dude i forgot to give you my disc i played on your system. I might be at Delhi again on 22nd will try to visit and hand you over a copy.

Do add Pink Floyd and Rod Stewart to that list. And Diana Krall will rock your spectrum

Arrey Hip-Hop is also musical unless you are a die hard fan of 50 Cents! Remind me to send you some musical hip-hop tracks (unreleased) by unknown artists.
