Exactly My Question.
What's the fan for.

Also is the IDmax 12" or is it 15"?

Its for air circulation.

Right now the fan is not connected as will be putting another fan on the left side.

So Why not 2 idmax Sam.
You have posted they cannot be installed?

2 IDV3 and 2 IDMAX , wont they require the same space?

IDMAX and iDv3's are completely different subs, the IDMAX requires a comparatively large box, fitting two IDMAX is virtually impossbile in a ported box with the correct specs according to the subwoofer.

SAM did not want to fit them just for the sake of it, The result would be decrease in the performance of the subwoofer. Come have a demo of this, The IDMAX in a sealed environment performs like crazy. BTW dont poke him much, He is hunting a CR-V now to fit 3 IDMAX into it

I have mentioned in my earlier post that one fan is still left. That fan will be fixed on the another hole which is left.

what are you trying to say

the fan is for air circulations in side the trey as the amps will nit get any air from outside because of the cover it will more work like a exhaust

Yup, The Other hole would be fixed with another fan and then both the fans will work to circulate air inside the AMP rack. Like an exhaust fan
