thanks guys, and i am loving it

@abhinav,i will post the pics of wiring ASAP as car aint with me as of now

The HU is definitely better than 5539.
as soon as you start it,after listening to 5539,one thought comes up that this thing is Powerful.
the vocals, are sharp and more clear, tweeters sound better and mid bass sound pretty better too.

with the older HU the rear JBL GTO 938's sounded as if they were not present, and with the 6539's internal amp they are soo loud that i have to keep the fader towards the front only

Abhinav I have a Kenwood KDC-MP5039. Wanted to buy 6539 last year when I was getting my install done, but it was not available back then

abhi
5039's upgrade was 5539 which i had before 6539
now 5539 is replaced by 543 and 6539 by 6043
and these are kinda downgrades,as they dnt have any extra when compared to ongoing models

Abhinav 5039/5539 are almost same HU's. 5539 can do iPod Direct and 5039 only read ipod as USB device.

6539 is advanced series. It has 3 line display, better SQ and features.

Now 6539 is discontinued and it will be replaced by a costlier model.

5039/5539 are replaced by 543. 6043 is for 9K with B/W and even though its in the same price range on 6539 i will never say it is a replacement of 6539.

I think 543 = 5039, 6043 = 5539 as 6043 can do direct ipod. And replacement for 6539 is due.

Mubarakh Ho Akshay Sirji!!! Hope you're enjoying it even better now.
Please fill that blank right up in your first post, Sub:_________ :-)

- Are the JBL 6x9's still connected powered by the HU?
- How are the lower notes from the Sub blending with complete setup?

Awaiting some pictures of your new installs now :-)

Its JBL GT5 S12 in a sealed enclosure.

yes 6X9's are powered from the head unit,i can turn them off too from the HU, which in turn gives better SQ up front.
the lows from the sub are blending well, cant comment much since i have not used it for even 60 mins till now
will post the pics tommorow

will be waiting for pics Akshaya Bhai.
You were around same setup as I am with currently, the Sony 5500 HU.
Do share more pics.
and the Wiring pic too, Someone in my town says, JBL Wiring is 2500(I'll ask again on monday) he says he took 5 for his shop, and has been able to sell only one in few months.

JBL GT5 S12 with 2600as stated by "bharti22shresth" looks cool to me, does any JBL Store Accepts online order :-) can't find a trust-worthy seller in my small town.

Lastly the 6539 is Hard to Find, has anyone got a quote or contact number where one could buy ?
