Hey you could opt for this combination also;
HU: Pioneer 3190 / 4190
Front: Jbl GT5-S265
Rear: Jbl 938 / Jbl 947

You'll enjoy Punch from the Jbl 938 really

i got JVC KD R606
JBL GT5-S265
i had a pioneer 6990 pair for rear

JBLs are great... but i'm having a problem. the reverberation is causing rattling noise in the front doors. its a lot on one door and absolutely negligible on the other one. is it due to wrong installation ? (speakers touching the plastic part etc..?) or is it inevitable ? i'll have to get some sort of packing material installed to absorb the reverberation ? if so... where to get that done in delhi... cuz these installerscan ask for any amount of money.

also... i think the 6990 are a bit of a mismatch ? whats the price of those 938s ?

any recommendations ?

thanks.

if teh reverbration is a rattle it could well be an install problem. tell teh installer that he needs to open up the offending speaker and make sure that there are no loose wires, screws, etc. left to rattle.

If the reverbration is a boomy sound it can be damped using damping material on the insides of the doors.
