@nisarg86

Thanks nisarg for the info. Am trying the dealextreme site too where shipping cost is free and prices are lower too.

Also for the benefit of all others the OBD II scanner multi protocol is available for 29$ with free shipping from Dealextreme. Check it out.

Also wanted to know how did you n-lited the ini file. Is it the same procedure as given in nlite website i.e., have a copy of iso and run nlite to make a new iso file. Or did you after install of XP, configure the ini file in notepad to delete some unwanted applications/drivers/utilities. Also let me know what all can be removed from the standard edition.

Thanks

1. What is Total cost in INR ?

Havent calculated yet as the procurement spanned to some weeks and got items one by one. Also have invested in Dynamat sound deadening, JBL 504 and monster cablings. But approx it would come to some 40-50k

2. How it is performaing on road ? any problems & fix therof.

No problems till now. Anyway the AC is on everytime.

3. From where you have sourced all this stuff ?

Most from SP road and screen from harsh87 (t-bhp member)

4. Have you done with GPS & bluetooth ? Details pls.

I am yet to install GPS and bluetooth. On the way from HK.

5. Whats the software visible on your screen? is it free ?

No its the trial version of Centrafuse. You can google and download it. I was waiting for version 3.0 which is just released.

Any body know where to get the 7" touch screen monitors in hyderabad or bangalore ? I just wanted to avoid long wait for international shipment. I see couple in iride.in, but they are charging close to 14K for monitor alone. any insight in this regard would be helpful.

That is a pretty little enclosure. Did you fabricate it or buy it off the shelf ?

Multi scanner protocol wont work on swift. SDH has tested it on his swift. And it is not working. must be proprietary protocol.
Yes. i have followed the same procedure as given on n-Lite site.
I have also tried Windows XP Performance Edition. Only 240 MB.
I will PM you the details for that.

Hyundai cars are OBD2 compliant. Have tested elm scan 327 in my i10 and it is working. I could never make it work in swift of my brother in law.

Hmmm can you please be more explicit? Is it 270 or 330 else? Cause the last I enquired D45GCLF2 was about 3.3k.

BTW great cage for the PC, but please put in some ventilation, I am sure it will fry soon even with the AC on.
