Ya man I have seen the bolton factory but it is now closed. I have purchase a lot of stuff from there. But now they have sold the plot and a shoping mall is being constructed there.

thanks KB but for the record I am about 174cms tall and 72kgs in weight. I assume Sam, JB, and Gunbir are much taller and LBM is about 1-2 cms taller. As far as weight goes it is a 2 horse race between Sam and Gunbir.

I have only one title left. I am older! Now that is one title I will take to my grave (Rudra is not accounted for as he hardly hangs out at ICE).

OT! KB weights 103kgs and is 5' 9" tall :)

and being older is good; ask any doc :D

You coulda sat on me and deflated my puny 86kg, 5'11" frame.

When I met Sam a few years ago, I thought he could achieve the same with a great degree of comfort, but when I met him yesterday, he looked smashingly lean and fit.

So where is the factory now?

I am not the shortest at 178cm then but I must be one of the youngest at 27.

I dont know I think there is no bolton. It is completely shut down.......

Really surprising. They were in business for so many years. Wonder what drove them to shut down the business. Even if they did not have the DIYers market, they still had the replacement speaker market.

There is this guy who had made a 10 "O One... like the Bose 901's (incidentally this was one of Bose's better designs according to me)

But man this 10-O- O one has all bolton set up.. in a solid octagonal box - very large I might add.. with TWO reciprocal woofers on top and bottom side of the box - (the 9th and the 10th facets)!

He was driving this using some exotic refernce grade audio equipment (CD seperates and the works!) .. and he had a test cd of various things including a Chieftan Tank firing its main gun! ... A 2-8-4 steam locomotive at full cry!...etc.. to cut the long story short... BLEW ME AWAY!!.. never have I heard anything remotely close since! My respect for Boltons went up dramatically!

This person lives on Hayes Road in Bangalore... after the Passport office.. kinda well known in audio circles..

Which I think is not right, rest other knowledgeable person on this fourm like I said earlier "please shed some light" on this topic.... What I have learnt is below.Taken form a port manual.

If you were using a 4 inches diameter port keep it 4 inches from the bottom of the encloure and 4 inches from the enclosure walls. Also I am not talking about tunnig of the port so dont go in to that context please....... I am talking of installation only.......

Buddy LBM... reduce the photo sizes ... having to scroll to see/read the whole thing!:)

Actually the unexpected pleasure was mine to meet my partner in humour here.
As far as lean and fit... hmmm... I know many that would think otherwise.

I eat sensibly, run when i can and get divorced once in a while. All adds up to a sexier me.
