Wildon, thanks for the detailed pix. But can you elaborate why you removed the HU? did you try to attach the telephone mute lead to it? I read it on some international forum that it was possible.

Also, does this HU have any preouts? Cant see one though.

I Just take out c'se i wanted to know whether i can fit a CarPC in its Place. I found one Vacant Port . Have to discuss with the installer about what for those vacant ports are.
Also telemute is a good option trying to get the picture of that device from the net and comparing .

Thanks for sharing this Procedure to remove the Stock HU from 120 Wildon.

Is it possible to put an after market single Din HU there? I am not aware if sleeves or holders are available yet to install a single/double din unit in i20.

Finally got hold of the i20 HU Connector description to share with you. Please have a look at it. Wants to hear from the guru's whether a better ICE setup possible? or any other opportunities to explore !

actually i was thinking if i could remove the original head unit from my i20 crdi and fix a touch screen dvd player in its place and still have stearing mounted controls working and connect it to a reverse camera which will activate the screen with the reverse gear and a front night vision camera and a gps device and make it an all in one. can anyone suggest if it is possible and if yes where to get it done in Bangalore or Hyderabad and how much would it cost.
regards.
