It will be nice if someone can put more light on Rainbow SLC265NG vs luccents 6.1?

I was serching net and came across this piece what do you guys think?
"there is a fair bit of controvery about the country of origin, about the parent company in the US not having a bricks and mortar address and about the fact they may be assembled in Mumbai.."

Also I would appriciate any contact for buying new rainbow speakers in delhi thanks.

Following are the spec for both the speakers

Rainbow SLC265NG
Peak Power 150Watt
Power rating 100Watt
Sensitivity 90db

Illusion luccents 6.1
Peak Power 250Watt
RMS 100
Sensitivity 89db

My folks have a Punto Emotion Pack! Is it possible to just upgrade the Amp and speakers and thus retain the Blue & Me functionality?

Sorry if the above koshun is noobish! I'm new to the ICE world!

You can change the HU and retain the steering Volume and track change controls. However the phone key and the windows key will not work.

Nope! 8404 retails for 10k. 845 sells for 6500.

8404 > 8401 > 845

Yet Another noob koshun!

I assume the Blaupunkt THA 475 PnP is a Amp? So with that the Blue & Me + Steering mounted controls will be retained right?

If yes, can you please tell me what the approximate cost will be around?

There is a whole bunch of compatible HU's. You need to get the correct brand connector for the HU you choose.

However as I mentioned - you loose the functionality of the Phone key & the Windows Key. This was not acceptable to me. Hence I went for the sound processor & retained the stock HU.

Some material tp read through: CTSFA004
