Hey fordlover,

good choice of equipment.

there are somesuggestions i would like to give.

1. change your Audiobahn Eq to some better quality one.

2. go for better subwoofers that lightning audio....there are lot of options

3. with those amps and optima batteries you dun need 6 Farad of capacitance. You can do with 2 Farad. Give one to each amp.

4. How are you putting three sets of Q-Line MB Quarts?

Any more suggestions feel free to ask

Ford lover,

You don't need two pair of QSD216's in the front instaed you can use MB Quart QSD 164 (Add On Midbass Kit) along with QSD216.

In this way you will get more midbass in the front hence better sound. You dun need the second tweeter anyway.

Hope it helps

right on JB! 2 tweeters will cause all sorts of polar interference.

They will ruin the sound in the top end as it will get too loud and will affect the imaging.

U know I've been thinking about this and maybe....one or more of the following happened.

a) the corssovers used were so well designed that they accounted for the interpolar distortion (a few speaker companies have managed to work around this).

b) the install was so fortunate that by some happenstance interpoalr distortions are not so prominent at the driver's listening position

c) the user is chauffered and hence does not hear too much from the front. If this is so might i suggest a nice pair of headphones from Stax, Grado, Senheisser or AKG.

I had heard a two set of MB Quart QSD 216 in SL65 in Dubai and it sounded terrific, and same kind of a combination too.
