ICE for Fiesta 1.6S

Need your help and suggestion to decide on the ICE setup for my Fiesta.

I have purchased the Alpine CDA-9887 as the HU and I am currently deciding on the speakers and setup!

I usually listen to Rock/Metal/Hip-Hop/Hindi & Tamil movie OST.

My previous car Ikon had an all JBL setup and I have recovered a 12" JBL GTO1214 and a 4 channel Blaupunkt 400W Amp when I sold the car. It was a low budget setup. I would like to keep the old sub for now and have the following installs in mind.

1. Damping (?!?)
2. Polk Momo MM691 Coaxials
3. Polk Momo MM571 Comps
4. A Monobloc amp to power the sub (!??)
5. A 4 channel amp to drive the comps & coaxials. (Should I keep the BP Amp?)

Suggestions please gurus & thanks all in advance!

Sir, dont go by reviews. Audition before you choose.
Lot more to it than just RMS values, May be Guru's can enlighten more here

I can help you with the audition of a polk setup if you need one. But in this particular setup the speakers are powered by the HU. It might not be entirely helpful but nevertheless you can get an idea of how they sound.

Mr. Don Billa, Are you running the exact Polk Momo components?
Or the Polk db series speakers?

NO, not the exact momo components. This setup has db6501 components in it.

I have heard both the db series as well as the momo series. There is exists difference between these too.

@Anachronix: I ll see if i can get you an audition of the momo set up (components+coax) this week.

Fellas i'll clarify my stand ...
i never suggested anachronix any brand or model of speakers. I only offered to help him audition a polk setup irrespective of models. I have also mentioned that "It might not be entirely helpful but nevertheless you can get an idea of how they sound" .

I also agree to the fact that there is difference between momo & db series if not why would they be priced higher.

Donarun - Thanks for offering the audition mate. I will PM you and plan over this weekend.

Folks, any suggestions on the coaxials & comps!? Well, if the Polks are not to my taste

I was seriously in love with the JBL setup in my previous car. How about JBLisation of the Fiesta

Arun, I heard Polk components at Jeewajee while they were doing an install. Sounded a bit too bright to me. Tuning had not been done though. Why don't you get the DLS Iridium components that Bakiya has installed in his Fiesta. They sounded fantastic. Did you audition them at the race track? You could probably get them for like $500.

^^ 500$ for the components would be too steep for my budget!
