It sounds a lot better than many "audiophile" setups I've come across.
Inspite of having owned two sets of Illusion Electras, this setup really surprised me.
The Kenwood HU should have a lot to do with it.

It looks to me like the high quality mono is driving is a not so great sub. And a not so great 4 ch amp is driving some good quality speakers. I hope to audition this in one of the meets. The HU is super VFM for its price. I am thinking of getting one myself.

The system ain't that much loud. Though I haven't auditioned even anyone of our bhpian's ICE, I am satisfied with the SQ that my system produces & personal opinion differs.

Thank you. I don't know any technicalities behind ICE so I would be the last one to advice you. I just upgraded my ICE and we could do a comparo.

I bought the KDC-X7013U with B&W. Does yours come with multiple display color options?
