Adding Amp & Spk's to Punto E Pack

Hi,

As you all know the changing the punto's OEM HU to after market HU is not a easy job, getting central console box / Facia plate, loosing existing steering controls, to get the same after swapping the HU with other interface things is
So consulting some accessory shop's, googling in our beloved forum & other web pages, i decided on the below said setup.

Below are the stufff i have.

TS-C130R Component Speaker[front door's]

5¼" REV Component Speaker Package with 180 Watts Max. Power

S-E6996 co axial's

Features
  • 360W MAX.
  • 3-Way Speaker
  • 6" x 9" (16 x 24cm) woofer / 43mm midrange / 12mm tweeter
TS-SW1241D Premier® 12" Shallow-Mount Subwoofer
Mounted in custom made box

GM-D510M Mono Class D Power Amplifier

1000 Watts Maximum Power Mono Class D Power Amplifier
  • 500 Watts Continuous Power
  • Class-D Amplifier
  • PWM Regulated MOSFET Power Supply
With above said item's, ICE installer in central city of bangalore has suggested me the following addon's with limited budget around 8k, his recommendations are...

SLC4 Car Stereo Output Converter

Speaker Level Converter up top 80 watts
Allows the matching of aftermarket stereos of factory common ground systems
Allows the addition of 2 or 4 channel amplifiers to most stereos without RCA outputs
Allows the addition of amplifier and subwoofer to existing factory systems
Converts car stereo speaker outputs to RCA outputs
For car stereos with up to 80 watts per channel
Adjustable level matching from 0 to 2 volts

Car Audio Accessories Interfaces Amplifier Add On Car Stereo Output Converter

For Front components
Pioneer GM-3400T or GM5400T 2 channel amp or any other JBL / audison amp?!

Pioneer USA - GM Series

Rear co-axial's directly from OEM HU,

& the rear from LOC to sub woofer amp.

Is it possible to use a simple splitter at REAR speaker output of OEM HU to connect one to LOC & other to REAR spk's directly?

Is this work's for me?

Waiting for valuable suggestion.

why don't you opt for blaupunkt's plug and play amp, you can change the speakers, add a sub and have good quality music without losing out on goodies.

Don't blame the current car if you wanna buy a new one.
I know the swift doesn't score high on build quality.
Few of the best installs on our forum have been on swifts:

1. Renowned Stereophile Bhagwan's
2. Amey's
3. Low_Bass_Maker's Horny swift.

But sir,
Swift was never into my ICE plans, i dont want to add more weight to it, as its been ear-marked for different set of plan

I am anyway contemplating on replacing the i10 with Punto 90 HP. However this thing comes only in top variant, hence the question

@subbarao, the Blau THAxxxPnP amps don't cost that much, don't go by the list price. Someone had some of these amps on sale in the Classifieds - maybe they still have them. Considering the cost of the LOC, it will approximately cost the same.

The Pio amps are not bad at all, but a JBL / Infinity / Blau / Kenwood would be far better.

Have you already purchased the Pio components and shallow sub? If not, please do audition other brands / models before deciding. The difference is noticeable.

Hi,

Regarding amp i have mailed you personnally, you suggested to contact Mandovi motors, there only i got this price quote. Components, sub & amp are the used one was in swift which is in good condition, only 2/4 channel amp to buy, As i thought to stick to one brand i will go for GM6300F which is having Speaker level I/P, & also it accepts Remote Antenna signal to auto ON/OFF, it will avoid taking out +ve from ignition control.

But, above all these things from today evening AC & the OEM CD player are NOT getting ON it's dead!

1. Steering mounted controls can be retained with a Clarion/Pioneer/Alpine HU
2. If your new HU has inbuilt BT features why care about Blue & Me?
3. I dont think so.

Yes, sir, I remember. Here I was referring to someone in Delhi who was clearing stock. Your plan is good, no issues in transplanting the components, sub and amp from the old car to the new one.
