I always felt the interiors are a bit let down in the Xenon Xt. That rear bench seems bad in the dual cab. Is it really so is it just the pics? A slightly better interiors and better seats would go well I guess. Perhaps as mentioned before, Tata should release a CS version of the Xenon with a smaller wheelbase and loading bay a butcher front and an optional hard top cover for the loading bay.
Or maybe a 7 seater version too. stupid:

Yes, it was a 2.2L. I have a one more shot as well, of the rear. Don't think it was a XT. Or is it? I am not too sure.

Its still BS3, and it has that 3L "gem".
It seems XT is still the only option for us guys.....:(
Oh boy, thats 6.5 lakhs ex showroom for double cab. If Tata gives 4x4 for 1 lakh extra, it could be the cheapest 4x4 vehicle on sale in India(apart from thar).
However, this will not kill the Xenon XT market. You cannot kill a market which does not exist.
The reports in the newspapers also said that Tata will launch more variants on the Xenon platform by December this year. Wonder what could those variants be?

The picture in Mayankk's post looks like its atleast an year old.
Is this a relaunch? I have been spotting the single cab version with numerous types of bodies built on it on the highways of Haryana Rajasthan and Punjab since at least past 7-8 months now. This vehicle is already on road.
The Dual cab version if available with 4X4 will be a killer.

Xenon Pickup is supposed to be the replacement of TATA 207 and the RX series. I think thats what you guys must be seeing.

2.2 is the xt.

Yes, I am very much sure that I have been seeing the new Xenon based pickup truck. The front cabin and the bulged front wheel arches cannot be missed. The picture posted by Mayankk is the one I am talking about. Its not the 207 but the one based on Xenon.:)
hmmm, the targeted customers are never behind looks but still they did this to such a Macho looking machine.
Initially, when Xenon was launched, it gave an idea that this is going to be the base for new generation Safari (for looks at least) which was proved to be wrong. They could have even used this exterior for the Aria and it would have been a good competitor for a segment up.
The road presence when looked at some photos in this very forum looks superb!

looks great, may be a hit if ABS options are available.
even otherwise, will be a hit in the LCV segment!
Can this be a good tourer? Never driven a pickup, so not sure about the driving fatigue and stuff. The dynamics would sure be different from an SUV considering most of the weight here lies upfront.
Does this have a website yet? I couldn't find it either in commercial or passenger segment.

Going by my td of the xt,its amazing on the road. pulls away cleanly,interiors are comfortable(only front).
dynamics feel like a more planted innova,know what i mean?
rear bench is the worst place in the world for any reasonable distance.
and boy does it part the road. its about as big as a q7,and people can see it,quite well.....:)

I have been trying to find out whether it can be registered as a white board (pers use) vehicle in KA.
Does any one know? the Tata dealers I have contacted so far dont seem really interested.
Apparently it will be sold out of Tata Commercial Vehicle Dealerships in Karnataka.
Strange the more I look at the Tata vehicle somehow this reminds me abt my Navara, are my eyes playing tricks on me .. or is this a Cut and a Paste.!!.
