When I see the Xenon snaps, I think it'll make a good platform for an Estate.

Being a ladder frame chassis, it may not be a good candidate for an Estate car ( because the rear end would be really tall ) and would look a bit out of proportion.

just see how high floor of the rear load bay is and u will understand

Dosent look inspiring, reminds me of a rear hacked off Tata Estate or a 2 cabin 207.

Its really cool off road and never got stuck. On the highways it was a right toyal pain and was given to the driver!!!!
A few pics. The Xenon will overcome these shortcomings, I hope.

The Xenon does not look practical at all, TATA is better off making it a Estate, the back seats look very uncomfortable in it's current state.

It's a double cab pick up truck and most double cab pick up trucks all around the world look similar and have fairly uncomfortable rear seats. Don't mistake it for an SUV, it is not meant to be one. It is only for people who need a load bay at the back otherwise as you said they need an estate or SUV. It would be like me complaining that the Maruti 800 doesn't have 4WD..

What is the sort of practicality expected from a double cab truck with seperate load bay that can carry a fair amount of load and looks smashing?

those two things spoil the look of the vehicle.

extra weight of the bull bar and the bonnet propector looks useless to me as they make the vehicle look ugly!
