New Tata Car - Pics [Looks like a pickup truck]

Guys*,

I caught this on my Pune-Mumbai highway near Wakad at 2am in the morning. I was coming back from Mumbai.

Sorry for the pic quality, blame my stupid white elephant iphone. OT: I regret being oversold on this device.

*Guys applies equally to men/ladies and is considered a sex-agnostic term used for addressing.

Considering its LHD - looks like Tata doesn't want to launch it in India.

Not the case I have seen the right hand drive version also, but they are not sell it here [ only exports], the company keeps the test vehicles going as development to engines, suspension etc keeps going on for export market.

Nice, looks like to me it is Xenon, the car that was shown at auto show. Moreover, it also looks like this is the car whose's underpinnings will raise the new Safari or sumo.
I think this car must have independent rear suspension and a good range of diesels from 2.0 ltr to 3.0 ltr.
Independent rear suspension is a must now.
