...and another pic of an Axe from my hard drive.

here is the "original" AXE in israeli hands. i wonder how MM said they have developed it for the indian army!

I like the looks of the Striker.Almost like the Gypsy, yet a bit more rugged. The AXE looks nice too.Gotta have amazing off road performance.

nice pics guys ..... one request please don't edit the faces in the pics with black color like that, some may find it offensive :)

here is a photo of the gypsy used by Garuda, the IAF special force.

here is a special photo for all the HARDCORE 4x4 lovers who buy disposal jeeps of indian army.

the gypsy in the earlier reply is specially for Khan Saab who is a die hard gypsy fan!

so here comes the Mother of all trials of a 4x4 vehicle for our proud army.

i hope i get to hear some good comments on this photo.

Awesome pic @Parm. Where did you get this one? Could not identify the vehicles apart form the Axe. What is Vectra? Who makes them? Sorry for so many questions.

beautiful pic parm,
I wish that I was the test driver for these vehicles..

Whats the "Vectra" and another TATA vehicle? Are these regular vehicles or beign Test Driven by the Army? Any details.

Great pics though.

Its a picture from the trials the forces had for a light specialist vehicle (LSV). I think Vectra Engineering who make the vehicle are linked with tetra and partly Indian owned but based in the Czech Republic.

Here is the offering from TATA for the LSV trials :

Wow Wow and more Wow!!

:OT Made me a little emotional thinking about the special feeling of being associated with the armed forces (Dad took retirement from IAF). Its a life that I probably miss and can only be experienced not explained :)

Also I remember amongst the lot my favorite used to be a Russian vehicle known by the name CRAZ. Eight wheels and huge to say the least and generally used as a missile carrier. Tried to search for pics on the net but was unlucky.
