as Transsenger stated above, lynx is not long enough! else it was No. 1 on my list.
If length is under consideration then max wheel base offered in Stag and Lynx are 4200. Not sure of the over all length though!

i would say in simple words..go for a leyland product be it a stag or a lynx, you defenitely can rely on it. and in terms of your requirement of a 25 seater with push back, i would suggest the lynx to be the better option, since its made to be a 31 seater in normal condition which can be configured to be a 25 seater too.
Body obviously can be gone for SM Kannappa...
These are my choices and i wont go in for an eicher even if i go for a tata.

thanks for all the advice friends. i have taken the quotation of the eicher 10.90 which is 7.6 lakhs. I'll also take the quotation for the AL stag & lynx today. If the new tata chassis with the CRDi engine will be launched in 2 months, then i can afford to wait.

Can you plz detail the quote you have got for 10.90 along with other charges?
you can always do this, even after getting quote for Stag and Lynx so that we can draw some comparison

I would suggest you to also check out Commuter buses from force stable as they are also quite reliable, & come in variety of option I am attaching tech specs for the same. Also from april onwards you can expect Man buses to get launched which will have front as well as rear engine arrangements.

but again the interiors are not so comfy as we plan to make. good things are it has an AC & exetriors are not so bad.

saddest part is wheelbase at 3600mm is very less.

ALL Panther

I suppose these are short wheel base versions of Panther.
This bus configures 32 push back seats with main engine driven AC.
you can also look into this too.

@Raj, Mahindra also has CRDe powered mini's. I think it is called the CityLine. Do check it out.

If TM does launch a CR mini bus, it will be a new launch. Do you want to go for an unknown, or wait a bit before betting on such a product ?

@AshLey2
AFAIK Sutlej Lexia is not based on AL Panther, but its a integral bus developed by Sutlej a few years back. Its fitted with Cummins engine and some Tata aggregates. (Am'I right?)

@Raj_5004
Take a look at the AL Stag a/c bus built by Prakash.
Also your can checkout the new Isuzu a/c minibus, contact Swaraj Mazda dealer soon!

How about trying for a shortened cheetah chassis?
The ones that is used by private operators on short routes in kerala, along with lynx and stag.

Might be. I have no idea. The front axles were from AL in this bus. This made me conclude its a Panther!

The Sutlej Lexia series had a Cummins engine only for the big buses and not for Minibuses . I still guess so!! Fingers crossed
