Has there ever been a need to get under your GT or was this something you were trying as DIY?

The skid plate I was referring to in the first post. The car will have to be raised to get the template done using a cardboard and then fixing the final skid plate. Not very familiar with any FNGs nearby so this seems to be an easy workaround.

Besides, if I can manage to source the fuel/oil/air filters and other spares, the replacements can be done at home instead of leaving the car at the service center for days together.

Nice. Simple, yet effective concept and i wonder how come people (Including me, but ) haven't really thought about it! As people have pointed out, I think you should have more length on the top plank though.
