Big shoutout to Vid6639 for shooting these pictures and videos & his coverage of the Auto Expo. Thanks for sharing, man!

Uniti, a Swedish electric carmaker and the Bird Group, an Indian business conglomerate, have announced today the start of a joint analysis in India. The two companies plan to launch a 100% electric city car in the Indian market by 2020 with a price tag starting from Rs. 7,14,000 (ex-showroom). The car is called the Uniti One. While a 5-seater version is planned for India, a 2-seater version has been displayed at the 2018 Auto Expo.

One is built on a carbon fibre frame. Powertrain is developed in collaboration with Williams Advance Engineering (UK). They are currently using a Siemens Valeo electric drive system similar to that found on the Volvo's. It has a steer-by-wire system and a claimed range of 200 km on a single charge:

Wide wheel arches lend a bit of character to the design:

Notice how the door forms a part of the wheel arch. The flap on the bonnet is where the socket for the plug-in charger. The car comes with a removeable auxilliary battery system:
