Re: Hyundai Kona : Official Review

I am currently on the fence for buying an EV with Max 20L budget and currently exploring ZS EV Excite Pro (just got a boost with this variant), Kona and XUV 400 EL Pro.
Only Nexon EV is excluded as I am reading a lot of chatter on Tata issues plus it is a new product from Tata, so would consider this only after 8-12 months of launch.
Right now, it has become a very difficult decision. Below are some offers I have heard:
Kona: 4 Lacs official plus may be 1 Lac dealer discount
XUV 400 EL Pro: 75-80k Cash discount plus 25-30 exchange bonus
MG Excite Pro: New variant but need to check. It does not come with 7.2 KwH charger though

Re: Hyundai Kona : Official Review

If someone is looking to buy a Kona in Bangalore you can get in touch with Rakshith 70191 88963 at Blue Hyundai Rajajinagar or his manager Lohith on 96861 15134 both very courteous and patient.

I easily managed a sub 20L price before the MG excite pro happened and I'm sure there's scope for more considering we're in March and our State Govt, in its infinite wisdom has decided to levy tax on EVs upwards on 25L.

I have no affiliations or any gain by posting this, just sharing a good deal to help fellow bhpians.

Re: Hyundai Kona : Official Review

Completed 19,000 km on my hyundai kona electric it’s been a learning experience on the whole compiled some interesting data on charging and range.

Majority of my drives have been in Eco mode occasional comfort & sports mode as well.

Recently, i happened to do a hyper mile challenge run on my hyundai kona electric where i was able to achieve a range of 511 km on a single charge sharing the links of the video’s i complied ::

Day 1 ::

Day 2 ::

Overall ,hyundai kona electric is gem of an electric vehicle it is indeed sad that we don’t have 2024 version in india yet.
