Honda's first all-electric SUV to be called Prologue; launch expected in 2024

Honda Prologue EV recorded its best sales since launch with 5,401 units in the US market in August! It has crossed 10k units in sales since it went on sales in June. Also it has sold more than its GM counterpart, Chevy Blazer.

P.s. prologue is made by GM.

Honda is crushing it right now.

Strong sales of hybrids, the all-electric Prologue and its SUV lineup led Honda to record sales in August.

- Honda sold 127,900 cars last month, 35,886 of which were electrified. The vast majority of those are hybrids.
- Honda set a sales record in August, with 28% of its sales coming from hybrid or electric models.
- Most of those cars are hybrids, but the all-electric Prologue is off to a strong start with 5,401 deliveries in August alone.
- It's already outselling cars like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, but we'll have to see if Honda can hold on to that momentum after the initial wave of buyers is satisfied.
