Good.

Now someone at the design team of the Audi e-tron is a fanboy of the Nissan GT-R.

re: Audi E-Tron GT, now launched at 1.8 crores

This is the first expensive EV that I have seen that I would consider buying. It seems like a perfect package, especially since the interior is normal as compared to other EVs.

In my opinion, ford butchered the Mustang's legacy with the mach-e, making it a crossover and an EV. Audi seems to be heading in a better direction and it looks like a superior product as well.

Seeing that the RS7 is similarly priced, enthusiasts would absolutely stick to the 4.0 V8. Better pricing and more government subsidies on EV CBUs would have given the RS E-tron the edge.

I think the Etron GT RS is comparable to the Taycan Turbo. The Turbo S is a notch above.

While these are not cheap, when you compare OTR prices in some states compared to some of the high end petrol option it might nearly be at par. Several states like MH have waived road tax on EVs which in this case can save you 20L.
For example, the new RS7 on road price would be at par with the Etron GT RS.

So why do you guys think, this is a competitive package? Porsche Taycan Turbo is 2,10, Turbo- S -2,30. If I am shopping in this segment, why will I even look at Audi when Taycan is so competitively priced (relatively )

Audi brochure, sent by the dealer.

I think it will boil down to the kit level. Audi will probably give a well loaded car for slightly cheaper than Porsche would give a bone stock one. Typical Porsche
The numbers I mentioned are official only. First lot is gone but you can book the next one. Yes, Porsche loadings are a pain but on higher variants, a lot of kit is standard. As an example, 911-Turbo-S will get upgraded leathers suspension as well Carbon ceramics. Porsche dealers have asked customers to configure on UK site and thereafter based on the options/ Indian pricing, they shared the final number. But, I won't be surprised if the subsequent bookings are at higher prices. Like how they increased prices of Panamera Turbo S by 20 lac recently.

Does anyone know what the ground clearance is like? It looks like a really low slung car and I'm not sure if it can be used as a daily or frequent commuter in Bangalore.
