Pravaig is a tech mobility company based out of Bengaluru. They had a single car on display which was the Veer, India’s first electric Military Utility Vehicle:


The Veer is finished in a military camouflage theme and is an open-door vehicle with multiple attachments. It has a very long wheelbase of 3,030 mm. Powering the Veer are two motors that have a combined torque of 620 Nm. It has a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.9 seconds:


It features a carbon fiber bonnet with airlift hooks. There's also a thermal imaging sensor placed on top of the windshield:


You have a 4-tonne winch up front:


It is quite wide at 1,950 mm and has an approach angle of 34 degrees:


At the rear, you have a storage area with a 690 kg payload capacity:


On the sides of the car are utility storage boxes:


Very aftermarket-like design on the alloy wheels. These are 18-inch alloy wheels with 255/65 run-flat tyres:


All-wheel disc brakes:


The MID is a 10-inch touchscreen display with all the driving information:


There's also another touchscreen on the dashboard on which you can get the thermal imaging display, vehicle information and live feed from drones, etc.

What is their exact motive in this edition of Auto Expo? To get some more funding? They were developing a sedan which had promising stats but no news or display of it here.

Good call to not showcase their Sedan. It was a very crude design and certainly a negative press Magnet. Not sure if it's only me that has such a strong opinion about their styling or lack of it.

Never have I seen someone showcase a 6-axis robot that is used to assemble a car with so much pride The company name is proudly displayed on that robotic arm which is definitely manufactured by some other company.

At the unveil event there were so many negative comments about the panel gaps between the doors and misaligned body parts.

So this time they have addressed it, but displaying only the model without the doors or a roof

Hope this is not on the same lines.
That thermal image is an absolute peach, the soldier/gun wielding person is camouflaged even in the thermal image. Guessing it's a picture for representation only. The greatest thought seems to have gone on deciding the location of the National flag stickers.

I was present for a demonstration run of the PRAVAIG VEER in Gurugram. This was an event for customers who had prebooked the civilian version.



Few observations from my side:

The vehicle was fully operational with all systems working. Even the wipers and washers.

The night vision works with a minimal but observable delay.

It was running on reduced power due to being on offroad track. Still the acceleration was something IC powered cars can't emulate.

The car was running dual motors and handled the track well.

The platform is modular and designed to produce many customized body types.

Suspension was well tuned for rough stuff.

I don't remember the exact figures, but even after 4 hours of spirited driving and many high gradient climbes, the vehicle had quite a lot of battery charge. The vehicle was driven to and from the location under its own power.

I have requested for further details of the product and will share as i receive them.

Well that element there is a see-saw.
It is one of many elements at the Off Road Adventure Zone in Gurugram where this demo was held. It is followed by rocks and tyre trap.
All in all a good demonstration of climbing prowess, suspension (the seesaw drops) and other general parameters like approach and departure angles. Cannot comment on maximum climb angles or any other build details as I don't have the data.
