Some photos are like good jokes. If you have to explain them, then they are just not that good. In some cases a photo shouldn't need a story to back it up. It has to speak for itself. ~ xyz

Great shots! I loved the one with the surfer right next to the sun!
A recent shot of the Seattle skyline:
Shot this one on a tripod and used a remote release. Thats me and my fiancee jumping in the air! It was so awesome to try this out clap:

TG.

Fantastic photos TG. Can you elaborate on the capture of the skyline shot? E.g. time of the evening, what kind of PP you did etc.

Sure, I shot that in the evening just before sunset on a cold, stormy evening. I just upped the clarity a wee bit and played with the curves in Lightroom. That's pretty much the post processing. Actually that shot is from a series of 300 images which I had shot for making a time lapse video of the same composition :)

Thanks! But definitely not enjoying Netherlands now. Weather is really bad for this time of the year. 8 degrees to 12-14 degrees (C), cloudy, windy and rainy. I saw good sunshine for only a couple of days during the two weeks of stay. I hate this weather, hot and humid Kerala weather seem to work much better for me! :)
@bluevolt: Nice capture of emotion of little boy.
@Torqueguru: Your first capture of Skyline of Seattle is absolutely mesmerizing. I just looked this image for 5 minutes constantly.
Just first attempt of Handheld Long Exposure with my new entry level DSLR Canon 650D. I do not have tripod and just ordered.
Clouds on a lazy Sunday evening at a little suburb in Mumbai

Cauvery at Coorg

One of the first attempts from my DSLR 600D

Some nice shots there TG, Arvind, Gandhi, Amol
Wishing a peaceful weekend to you all.
Used Photoshop Express Online to do the basic editing and resizing of this image. It was so easy and took hardly 2-3 minutes. Feedbacks please.

A splash of water in the scorching sun!

Yes. Works great to attract these little birds. Here's another couple I caught in flight.

Very nice colors. I get a feeling that there is some scope to get some details out of shadows.
