This is from the Loam's view point enroute Valparai. Its at one of the hairpin bends overlooking the Aliyar backwaters down below. Its a smaller view of the larger water body.

Where is this exactly? The road reminds of the Chamrajnagar - Gundlepet stretch. Really like the mood in the shot.

An ISO 2500 shot of a young leopard.

You travel these roads in interesting hours. I have taken this road twice in the last 10 days and never saw it like this.

Nilanjan, after Shiradi has been closed, many now Bangalore-Nelamangala-Chanarayaptana-Arsikere-Thirthahalli-Agumbe-Manipal option. This stretch in question is on the Chanarayaptana-Arsikere section.

@Samurai-san
Last year end we had been to Kodachadri and had taken this stretch. At about 7AM in the morning this road was fogged out. This was the stretch where the road runs kind of parallel to the Hassan-Arsikere railway line. Its at this section, the road runs through a beautiful avenue of trees. A misty morning added to the charm greatly. Not to mention hungry stomachs which ended with some hot breakfast at Arsikere.

A D4 or D4S would have been so handy.:)

This was shot when I was driving inside Satpura Tiger Reserve in the Fortuner. Had to jump out and shoot while getting close to the ground, the black-naped hare vanished in a few seconds.

Superior AF and FPS help so much in such situations. With such a body, I could have even bumped up the shutter speed to 1/1000s and left it at that when driving (using auto-ISO), relying on superior high ISO capabilities for good IQ.

Lokur railway station, next to Thoppur ghats, Salem.

The Boar ghaat section at Lonavala. One of my favourite places from childhood until today.

Thanks. :) Yes I did click it from a moving train. All that speed and zipping past trees and other objects, gives a great background to most photographs.
