Since everyone is posting Diwali snaps..heres one from my side.

this is how a chakri looks like when shot using the fireworks scene mode on the Canon S5IS.

I tried hard to take a picture of a bird taking off.. managed only this, when i finally found a bird ..the memory card was full.

f/8 ..shutter 1/400..iso 100.
