Nice click there and I know its a tough one to capture, I have managed very few such shorts...main problem with my P&S is that when shutter speed and zoom increases, I have to crank up the ISO and there, anything above 400 will be damn noisy....yet i have managed a few. This one was taken while on a boat trip.

Nice catch, specially the sunrays hitting the head of the seagull. I usually bump up the ISO to 400 for higher shutter speeds. Yes, noise is always a problem. I have tried a software, but it softens the image more than my liking.

Here is one more birds in motion image:

TG & Benny, quite similar pictures. Did you guys confer before clicking that shutter button?:D

Nonetheless, both amazing pictures. This thread is just beautiful!

Thanks mobike. Its interesting that while TG had the pic shot in the US, mine was shot in Kerala. :) Subject in my pic happens to be my brother.

Thanks buddies.

Yeah with your sensor, i guess ISO 400 should do just fine. And that click is really a good one...Nice snap shot of the action.

@Benbs
Well no wonder we are from the same place, technically. :)

Heres one more, similar one. I gave this, framed as a gift, to my mother on my birthday. Oh yeah and shes the model here!
