5200 is 8x and so is 6200-6400.

completely agree with devarshi84 as for the motherboard not supporting 8x well most of them r reverse compatible so u can easily use a 8x agp card on a 4x motherboard,and ram and processor r equally important for good functioning of a pc(if u r into gaming very much so) bye the way i run a 8x card on a 4x motherboard
