Help

I might be getting a PS3 from Canada, now will there be a problem with the NTSC and PAL systems as i think we get NTSC compatible games in India and also the 110V - 220V conversion should not be a problem as you get stabilizers right?

I really want one as my dvd library has started renting out blu-rays and ps3 games.

as mentioned multiple times earlier in other threads - lcds/plasmas and even the cheapest crts are multi region auto switching and the ps3 power supply is 100-240v and will work in any country, provided you have the right plug (no voltage converters needed)

enjoy your ps3 :-)

You might have a problem with the BluRay discs.

Can someone help me out with playing online.

When I test my internet Nat Type shows up as failed. I believe you need a NAT Type of 2 to play. I tried putting my PS3 on DMZ but that didnt work either.

I can download updates and check my rankings and everything but just cant play online.

Shocked!!

I got my Logitech G25 today. Connected it to the PS3 as soon as i got my hands on them. Well my joy was shortlived, I am getting electric shocks when i touch the damn thing. I noticed that even when the G25's power adapter is removed the shocks are still there on the metal parts, its connected to the PS3 through USB. My PS3 came with a 2 pin plug, can this be the problem?

lol guess thats the latest in force feedback technology . Try to connect a wire from the metal to the ground (earthing). Could be because of the 2 pin plug.

Yup, even my PS3 gives me a mild buzz when i touch the metal parts. I guess they weren't lying in their reviews when they decribed the PS3 experience as "ELECTRIFYING". LOL

Theres a simple sollution though, just place a small carpet where you sit. As long as you're not in direct contact with the floor, you wont feel it.

Shan2nu

Did y'all know this? Wii launched in India on Sept. 30:
Nintendo Wii and DS to launch in India
A colleague tells me he saw a Nintendo store in a Gurgaon over the weekend. It was empty - not suprising, given the low key launch and the Rs. 19,990 price tag (and I was thinking grey market prices for the Wii were usurious!)
