I think your second choice of LG 49LF6300 is a bit old version. When i was recently buying I did ask about this model in 42 inch version and it was coming out expensive than LG 42LF6500 (former being 65k and latter one 60k) which also has 3D and the latest OS. Also the LF6500 versions are available only in stores and not on eCommerce websites. So best to check it out from nearest showrooms.

finally bought the samsung 48j5300. closed the deal for rs.60000.

That's a heck of a deal from the initial quoted price!!

What is the most VFM LED tv - 40-49 inch?
My criteria -
No 3D
No smart

I'm open to all brands, although am little hesitant to buy Micromax, Vu, Intex, Croma, Reconnect.

Please help me bhpians.

Thanks in advance!

No its not that. Sorry forgot to mention the defect. Just check the upper left corner you'll see two white spots. That is the defect.

Planning to buy a 17" to 19" computer monitor. Budget is 6K . Can you please suggest a VFM product.

Getting a lg 49lf6300 in exchange for the defective samsung ua48j5300 is it a good descision.

You should grab it and take extended warranty. Also check box and date of manufacture etc. I have a smart lg 37 inch and happy with it. It's been three years now and no issues till date.

saw some reviews on youtube. lg claims it to be 120hz but reviewers say its 60hz. will it make any difference?

I paid 10k more for a Sony 46" LCD with 100Hz for better sports viewing, however when I use that mode I notice a lag in the game so never used it after that. I do know that this makes a difference on computer monitors as it reduces flicker but honestly don't know impact on a TV. Since you are buying in store you can visually check it out.

Returned the samsung 48j5300 and got the lg 49lf6300 for rs.63000 had to pay 3000 as i paid 60k for the samsung

Did he overcharge you considering the situation you were in? You had initially got quoted 69k for the samsung and paid 60k for it while the LG was 67.5k. So proportionately you shouldn't have had to pay anything or maybe even got some money back from him instead...

I don't know but they mrp of lg is 90k while that of Samsung is 80k. That may be the reason. He was initially asking 4k extra but later setteled for 3k. Anyways nothing to conplain now as the lg is definately a superior product between the two. I had for samsung as my dad was impressed by its picture quality. Lg was always my first choice.
