Depends on which kind of design you like. All have different designs. Select 2-3 based on your preferences and then let me know.

I personally prefer siemens just because I get the option to use my own headphones or use it in car, inhouse, on pc with the bluetooth.

THe best quality though was jabra/motorola.

I have not tried most of them.

I am using the SE HBH DS -970, and its doing its job perfectly well. It’s lightweight and has very high sound/music quality and can pair up to 10 devices concurrently.

First choice Motorola, 2nd Sony Ericsson.

However, I think the iTeq range (yes they have a decent RANGE of stereo bluetooth headsets) are "cheap and best" - they even had a noise cancelling one.

No, it seems no one in India listens to music wirelessly. And the Nokia ones don't have FWD/REV.

Guys,

Please suggest me a good bluetooth headset to be used with my SE P990i.
DSP or noise cancellation would be an obvious added advantage, along with LCD display for caller ID.

I have shortlisted Motorola HS 850, HS 300, Logictech Mobile Traveller, LG HBM-500 with an OLED screen and Jabra JX10.

Please give me your inputs among these or the one you have used or prefer?

I will be getting the headset from US.

Regards,
Lavkesh

How does the sound quality in one of these (good ones) compare with that of an I-pod. From an SQ point of view is this a viable alternative to an I-pod.

Go in for Motorola S9, the one Abhishek wears in moto ads. Its sound quality is much better than the wired headset I got with N95 and also another Nokia one (must be BH 501 model I think) and the build and features are the best currently available.

I have a Samsung SCH-W339, or Duo as it is called. It has A2DP. Now my stupid question is that can I hear music on a normal Bluetooth headset as well? BTW, I have a Motorola H500

I tried but it didnt work, if it does, can anyone please suggest what wrong am I doing? Although I am able to connect as a bluetooth device over voice calls.

Is your Motorola listed in your device as "Handsfree" or "Headset" ? If the former, you will only be able to take calls.

Very few regular BT Handfree sets support a headset profile, but you may get lucky!
