Looks like this year's summer is driving everyone crazy Room-coolers are selling like hot-cakes it seems.

Was scouring all online e-commerce platforms + couple of brick-n-mortar shops entire last week, but couldn't buy a satisfactory model - NO STOCK!!!
Reliance-digital sales guy even told "saar you can book whichever model you want, we will home-deliver after a week"!
C'mon who "books" an average equipment like cooler now-a-days & wait for a week/more !?

At last, bought a Symphony icecube personal cooler with 27L water tank off amazon; got it delivered today. Hope it works well & lasts longer.

Bangalore? In an open space, it may work - like a sit out or a Balcony but Inside the room, At least I have not seen it work. Humidity is more than the range an evaporative cooler would function.

There was one at home in Bangalore, not sure who had bought it but it was functioning properly but the room would get sticky and warm. So it was discarded before it used up any more space.

AC is the only way out for south of India as far as I know.
