Where can I get Tupperware products in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. They are not available in any of the supermarkets and small shops doesnt know what it is. Called up the dealer and they are of no use. Not sure why they are then called as dealers.
Tupperware is available through network marketing only and not in shops. Mostly housewives are their dealers.
But I have also seen it selling at online retailer:
www.shopclues.com.
Looking to replace our Samsung 310 litre frost-free fridge of 1999 vintage. My second fridge is an LG of the same size, and apart from bulb/shelf replacement, I have not had a problem with the LG for last ten years. The Samsung had to have minor service twice for some excess frost formation.
I am thinking of trying a Panasonic 350 litre as replacement. Anyone has any experience with Panasonic fridges?
My son has one 400+ litre Inverter bought in Manipal. Had some teething trouble, they changed the card, and since then was working very well. Now he has moved to Gurgaon and it is just sitting idle.

A regular 5A socket is good enough for 1 to 1.5 KW appliances, if the connection time is short (less than an hour).
If the plug does not heat up after ten minutes of use, it is fine. If it heats up, then the contact area may be small, so a bigger plug is required.

Generally, the 5 amps socket (small 3 pin) would be able to take care of most of the appliances (e.g. TV, Fridge). For those appliances that need the heavier 15 amps socket, the plug provided along with the appliance itself would be big and would not fit into the smaller 5 amps socket (e.g. Geyser, Oven).
The iron mentioned here is just a regular iron with steam and the regular 5 amps would be good.
Remember that often th3 problem is in the plug. Those with solid brass pins - Northwest, Crabtree etc. are much better.
Thanks for your replies KSMRSM, SGIITK & Aroy
I am in the market for a new mixer-grinder/food processor. The 10 year old trusted philips one is showing signs of aging and I wanted to know what brand is good these days.
@Jaguar; I swear by Kenwood. My K-chef lasted over 20 years and had to be dumped since the blades on the liquidizer packed up. I have a new one now. They do have a cheaper model which is also brilliant.

Thanks. The couple of shops I visited yesterday didn't have Kenwood. They weren't even interested to sell Philips and were pushing Bajaj, Preeti etc. Will look around for Kenwood and then decide.

Lenwood is a Premium Product - KChef about 55k and the lower one about 15k. Check on their site, and you may get clues.

Hi everyone looking to buy a new microwave Owen.
I shortlisted Panasonic and IFB any suggestions which one is good. |
I have an IFB... experience with it has not been that good. Have had issues periodically in the first year... including replacement of the magnetron and the disply circut. Maybe I got a lemon, and now since they have replaced most of the internals, have not had issues since about 6 months.
But one big positive is the service is prompt and they replaced parts under warranty (but the magnetron replacement took around a week to replace).
