I usually do the seasonal time trails, however this time I was busy with Suzuka. Plan to do the trails tonight, just for the money though this time.

I suggest you visit gtplanet, they will have the best tunes for the time trails. Really helps and gives you a good start.

I will add you today.
I am there at GTP. My id there is freerizzy and my PSN is rizzy_27. I am using a hybrid tune from GTP but still cant get the lines right. Damned understeer.

I think since its a 4WD car, your LSD diff lock in acceleration might be sensitive, try reducing it, so that it will behave like a 2 WD till some threshold of acceleration.

There are a lot of tuning guides which you can read on LSD tuning.

That's a pretty good time. You need to know the places you can go fast in the Track. Also, learn how and when the rear tyres lose total grip, you can exploit that grip.

Re: Gran Turismo 5 (GT5) - PS3

Folks
I am having a peculiar problem with my PS3. When on HDMI mode, the TV does not display anything except a blank screen with no sound. But on AV mode it works fine. I tried using s different HDMI cable, a different HDMI slot on the TV, followed youtube videos for re-setting the display, but all of no avail.

I took it to the Sony Center and they did some kind of reset of the system and it worked. But when I brought it home, I still have the same issue. Not sure how to proceed, and I'm missing GT 5 and other games for the past few months. Those games look lousy on AV connection.

Have you tried doing a video setting reset. In standby mode, press the power button on the console for 5 seconds till it beep and switches on. It will reset giving you the best setting for type of tv and cable being used.

Re: Gran Turismo 5 (GT5) - PS3

I love this game and still play it on a friend's PS3 regularly. I like the drift competitions a lot and especially in my favorite tool which is the SLS AMG.
