Hi All,
I am planning to buy a Portable DVD Player. when searching for it i saw this Gift 360 site. wanted to know how is COBY DVD Player??? is it worth that money??

Deepak

Coby is decent brand for portable DVD players. If you have someone coming for the state you could get it 50$ cheaper or so.

Gift360.in seems interesting, has anyone order from here?

a frd is leaving from US today.. can't tell him now... :Frustrati.
is it worth buying it here or should i look at any other brands..

I have a 2 screen polaroid portable DVD player in my Bolero. Works well - superb clarity and no disc slips/getting struck kind of problems. take a look at polaroid if you can. Ask me if you need any further details.

basically i am looking for DVD player for home use for my 2yr old son. he does not have eat if TV is switched off. so wanted a VFM portable DVD player which can in car as well in future.

how much did polaroid portable DVD player costed you??? where did u get it from

coby DVD is available in market for 1800 Rs.

Polaroid was a gift from my friend in US. But when i had checked price was around $175 (not sure though)..

I need a portable DVD player for my son. Looking for around 7"in Screen. Any recommendations? Must be widely available. No obscure brands that might be available in one city only. Where do I begin and how much do they cost?

Thanks

:OT (sorry for preaching...but cudn't help it)

My son also does not like TV switched off, but what I think is most important is to indulge them in outdoor activities and get rid of the TV habit.
Same reason why I did not get an entertainment system in the car.

while eating, watching TV is the worst reason for eating disorders.

I agree 100%. I plan to use this for out of station trips. It's main use will come on long highway trips. Otherwise I feel it is better to even talk to your children and create that bond with them.

TV will be off all the time except his feeding time.
