Hey Guys, any suggetions? I have a new enterants into this list. Now the choice is between
1. Nikon D3100
2. Sony NEX3 or 5
3. Nikon P100
4. Canon SX30IS
I will be staying away from the Panasonic and Fuji's. I personally liked the Fuji HS10 and its features, however they are out of contention.
All though each of them have a varied pros and cons, I am getting more inclined towards the Canon SX30IS.
@singhBHP, what is the price of Nikon D3100 in delhi. I checked out few shops here in Bangalore, none of them have it.

Paid 20,500 with Tax (free shipping) on Amazon.
My Friend will bring it here on Sunday, cant wait for it!

@Deepak : I did not checked the price on any shop, I saw it on the Nikon website and liked it a lot.

Thanks Vaisakh. Will definitely put my impressions here. Also once i have the came this coming weekend, we can probably have a lil test of out own between the superzooms owned by out TBHP members... Any idea when the Panasonic DMC-LX5 will be available in India and at what price? And the same question about Canon S95. When is it likely to be available here?
Bought a Tripod - Sony VCT-R100 for my new SX 20 IS from Vivilash camera's, Banjara Hills (beside Chutneys). Costed me 1450 (With bill). Min height is 1'1" and max 2'8.5". Initially, I didnt think a Tripod was needed for a P&S but realized that the panaromic shots would require a Tripod to align accurately to the field. I liked the metallic finish and the bag that came along with it. See pics below:

Not out yet. The dealer i regularly (V.G. Chimalgi, hyderabad) go to tells me it should be out late November. Flash camera this, for sure!

As he will be only interested in P&S, manual features are not required. If possible, tell me where can I buy your suggested camera in Bengaluru.
