Hey Guys,

Is this Game on Demand really worth in India?
I see that Halo3 is available for Rs 1500 and COD4 is for 2800 points. We can manage the manuals from internet and download the game.

To me, it looks a better option in terms of economy (with difficulties to move the game to a diff console + migrating license to a diff console if you are moving to a diff console permanently - otherwise its good).

Do you guys think its worth? What are the adv/disadv of going GoD? Please share!

Connecting my XBOX360 to the web

Hi,
I am currently using the Reliance Net Connect + USB device from my laptop to access the internet.
I have recently bought the XBOX360 Kinect 4GB. I wanted to connect it to the internet. But for that I require a wireless network, I guess.
How can I create a wireless network using my USB device and laptop?
Or do I need an additional router sort of thing?
Please help me with the necessary hardwares. I am a layman to all these elctronic stuff. So please be very layman'ish.

Mods: i didnt find a similar thread, hence posted this.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Connecting my XBOX360 to the web

you could search for software to turn your laptop into a hotspot.
search for "pc wifi hotspot" on zdnet, google etc.

I am unsure about how to use a usb device in concurrence with a router.

Your xbox has built in wifi, so it should detect your laptop once you have the hotspot service running.

Re: Connecting my XBOX360 to the web

I just came across this, will plan to check this over this weekend.

Link of the blog:
Connect to Xbox Live with a USB 3G modem - Broadband Genie

It makes use of the ethernet cable.

Re: Connecting my XBOX360 to the web

Well if your laptop has WiFi capability (which I am sure that it has) then maybe you can use the following setup to make your laptop work like a WiFi hot spot so you can connect your Xbox. See the following link on how to do so Link. Hope it helps.
