Keeping the mtx speakers (no money for better speakers ) and sorry about the sir.
Over the week i borrowed a yamaha ht amp 6 channel at 100w per channel at 8 ohms and there was ana amazing difference in the sq levels. so now i am convinced about getting a better amp. I would be greatly indebted if you help me pick up an amp under $200 upto a max of $250. Does it make sense in waiting till i have more money to spend ???

Good to hear about the improvement in SQ. Have you short listed any models then it will be quite easy for us to give you the best possible.

I have almost decided on this because of the 600watts output. I dont know any other website to search in and i felt that model gave the most power for 200$. If i do get that amp i was wondering what the best way of wiring would be to extract the maximum power.

Since your speaker is 8 ohms. and your amp cannot take 4 ohms load in bridged mode your only possible way to connect the speakers to this amp is by putting each speaker on one channel and each speaker will be getting 200 watts power.

Sir I cannot. Since you live in buffalo and what best price you are getting there I cannot judge from here. Like I said earlier choose the model and let us know we will guide you the to the best one.

FOlks about 10+years back we had pick "BPL" music system which looked something similar to "Philips Power house".

This came with "Hallmark speakers( i guess), the music system was worth every penny and today though the system is showing her age but the Speakers are still rocking!

Am thinking of buying an amp for the speakers, can you suggest me a decent amp nothing hifi

Speaker details:

75RMS
