Using a humble Touch for last 9 months and very happy with it, till the 3G becomes reality i guess

New ones with enhanced memory will be better.

Pros: Very compact and light, user friendly menu and apps at a reasonable price.

Cons: Not a very tough piece like a regular Nokia or a SE mobile handset. No GPS, though it supports external GPS receiver. No 3G.

30K for Touch cruise is insane. It will be launched in some time for around 24K if i am not wrong.

for 30K, it cant get better than TYTN II. The specs are the same but tytn is much more in functionality + have a keyboard and as i said, comes for 30K

Rather than Cruise for 30K, i would suggest HTC Touch (p3452/Elfin which is the Touch Enhanced) and come for just 16.5K. I have been using it for 4 months now and its amazing.

Was your deal better? How is your experience with the Cruise? Is the lack of a Keyboard noticeable? How is the sound quality and GPS functionality?

I got it for about the same price. I have been using PDA phones for like forever now and I have personally never missed the keyboard. Performance wise it is a lot faster than my previous o2 Atom Life even though the atom life had a supposedy faster processor. Sound quality is is very good and GPS is absolutely fantastic. Am using it with Google Maps and works great. Only drawback is the external speaker jars a little when the ring volume is a little high.

Asus P 750

Yesterday I boughta 1 month old Asus P750 from my friend. This is my first encounter with a windows mobile(I was a strong follower of Symbian.) I find it little bit difficult toadjust to it.The phone itself is quite good. The difficult part for me was the synchronisation with windows.I wasted half of today to make it work.Man!!!My N95 was far easier than this...I will definitely miss it
Cheers
Dilip
